The famous Heysen Walking Trail runs along the western border of the Rolf Binder estate and the Shiraz vineyard adjacent to it is home to some special vines planted in 1972.
The Heysen Shiraz is one of the flagship wines for the Rolf Binder brand, first made in 1989. It’s made from dry grown Shiraz and varying amounts of 1-4% Cabernet Sauvignon, depending on the vintage.
Matured in French puncheon barrels, the Heysen is characterised by a velvety texture and delicate softness.
