Tasters from Queensland
We enjoy people visiting our Tasting Room in the Barossa, particularly when they are fun and pleasant to chat with.
We were very happy to receive such visitors from sunny Queensland today.
Bob and Berenice from Brisbane, and their freinds Jenny and Kevin from Gladstone, dropped into the Tasting Room, drawn in by the name 'Veritas'. Berenice had just retired from her position as a school principal, and one of the schools she had recently taught, San Sisto College in the Brisbane suburb of Carina, has the motto 'Veritas', meaning truth.
The Veritas cellar-door-only 2008 Shiraz really got them talking. Rich and luscious, this wine is from a couple of barrels that were so outstanding, Rolf did not want to mix them into any of our other blends where the impressive flavours would be diluted.
Only $20 a bottle, the 2008 Veritas Shiraz can be purchased from our Tasting Room (do you REALLY need an excuse to visit the Barossa?) or through secure online shopping at 2008 Veritas Shiraz
