Black Muscat

The Black Muscat is an old wine made in the Veritas Winery on Langmeil Road by Rolf Senior, back in the days when the average Australian didn’t quaff table wines the way they do today. Ports, Muscats and Sherries were the preferred tipple of the day (not mentioning that ‘hop drop’).

The distinctive black cat that adorned the label is remembered fondly by past tipplers of this liqueur.

Caramel and chocolate linger on the palate, making this an ideal accompaniment to chocolate desserts and cosy fires. Alternatively, pop into the freezer (it won't freeze) and try on a hot night when you just can't sleep. Pour over ice-cream, or certain body parts of your favourite person!
