2009 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a lovely appealing red with dense colour and fruit flavour with the emphasis on soft, velvety, fleshy flavours. One of my friends drinks this all the time and it apparently has passed his case test. It goes like this. Most bottles of good wine can be drunk quietly by two people. But do you want to drink the same wine next night and the night after? To past the case test the wine must be agreeable night after night till it is all gone. Such is the appeal of well made Barossa reds.
