International Accolades

We have been greatly honoured with awards for Christa's beautiful Riesling at the Port of Wines Festival in Nova Scotia, a province in Canada.

The Port of Wines Festival is known as one of North America's great wine events, and attracts more than 5000 wine lovers from across the continent. The 2009 competition showed 340 wines from around the world, and they were sampled by the visitors to the event.

Christa's 2007 Eden Valley Riesling won both the Top Riesling award, as well as the Top White Wine award (priced between $20 -$30). A fantastic achievement. The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation will be holding this annual event again in early October. Their website states, "if you’d like to discover, taste and purchase new wines, you shouldn’t miss one of the four Grand Tastings. The Winemakers’ Dinner is followed by two days of Grand Tastings, where during either an afternoon or evening session, you’ll have the opportunity to sample all the Port of Wines Festival wine selections and purchase them at the on-site store."
