A Review For Our 2009 Cabernet Merlot

"Cabernet would be your first press of the buttons these days when considering the Barossa Valley. But this warm season has obviously clicked with Rolf's fruit sources to give a hearty style, while retaining goodly amounts of blackcurrant syrup aroma and a balanced palate. The varietal back-up from the richer plum fruits of the merlot aids and abets a smart little blend. This is a sure-fire for a meatfest over the charcoal grill."
