SALA Festival 2011 Featuring Denise Gaskell

We love the innovative, creative and beautiful textile works put together by Denise Gaskell, and this is the third time we have had the pleasure of exhibiting these works in our Tasting Room.


Denise has used a combination of shells, beads, ribbons, leather, threads, home-made felting, and free-style stitching, among other textiles, to put together an amazing display of beach scenes, reminiscent of childhood holidays.
   

Although Denise has studied some formal Art, this is all her own work, design, style, and is totally unique. The images come out of the frame in 3D, and are as fascinating up close as they are when seen from across the room.
   

The SALA exhibition can be seen at the Rolf Binder @ Veritas Winery Tasting Room Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4.30pm, and also on Sunday 7th and 14th from 11.30am to 3pm. come and try a splash of wine and enjoy these amazing works.
