Lana McKenzie - artist "Spirit Rock"
Prolific Adelaide artist Lana McKenzie has produced a body of work to grace the walls of our Cellar Door for the month of June.

The work is a collection of textiles and paints, enhanced with a mixture of fleece, nylon scarves, organza, felt, handmade paper, tissue paper, netting, palm fibre, and free machine embroidery.
The works look fantastic against our lolly banana walls, and evoke images of outback monoliths.
Lana says, "My artwork is inspired by nature. I am particularly drawn to the subtle but also vivid colours and textures of the Australian outback.
'Spirit Rock' series has been inspired from a collection of select images I have taken from my travels to Kakadu. The spritual atmosphere of the cliff, which overlooks Arnhemland, was breathtaking. the view was all-encompassing. It is this feeling of connection that I have tried to capture in my rock series."
This is an exhibition not to be missed. Come and have a splash of wine in our Cellar Door while enjoying the detail and colour od Lana's work.
